“Miss Kira” brings years of performance experience from stage, film, and screen to engage authentically and playfully with each child.  Kira has acted in award-winning films and TV shows, working opposite Oscar winners. Upon moving to the Bay Area, Kira parlayed her work in front of the camera to working behind the camera on documentary films, such as the world renown documentary, "Race to Nowhere".  Kira's role as a mom brings an undeniable love and caring to her work with the children in Kinderdance.  Kira graduated Phi Beta Kappa from USC's Honor's College .  She is grateful to have the opportunity, through Kinderdance East Bay,  to  marry her love of children with her interest in business as well as with her passion for art and  making the world a better place .

Ariel is a Bay Area native, who has been moving and shaking her whole life. She trained in gymnastics until the age of 12, when she began taking Hip Hop dance classes and fell in love with them. She was introduced to Modern and Contemporary styles through her high school dance program and holds a B.A. in Performing Arts and Social Justice with a Dance concentration from the University of San Francisco. Ariel has danced for notable Bay Area dance companies, such as SoulForce Dance Company and Detour Dance. She taught Pre-K gymnastics and eventually worked at a preschool and received a Master's of Education in Community Arts from Lesley University in Boston. Since moving back to the Bay Area, Ariel has been doing what she loves most: dancing, working with children, and enjoying the sunshine. Ariel is delighted to be teaching for Kinderdance East Bay and is happy to be sharing her skills and passion for movement with young people. 

If you LOVE children and enjoy moving and grooving...if you would love to arrive at work to hugs and cheers...if you would like to do something meaningful and work part-time, then you would absolutely love being a Kinderdance East Bay instructor!! 

If you have worked in a preschool  or elementary school setting, please let us know.  ECE's are a  huge plus! And don't forget to tell us about your dance, gymnastics,  fitness and/ or sports experience,
